Technics2000 Mixes

Is anybody out there??

Posted by Technics2000 on November 19, 2010

It’s been quite a while but i’m thinking of putting out some new mixes. Anybody out there have any free server space they would like to donate so I can distribute mixes.

I’m tired of re-uploading to all these sites only to have them taken down so I’m looking for someone who might have about 2-3 gigs available on a server with at least a 100mb line, preferably gigabit line.

You can contact me at technics2000@gmail.com

ps. There will be perks to whoever helps out :)

Have you tried hybridized.org or soundcloud.com ? Plenty of speed on those two.

Hmm, I used to visit hybridized alot back a few years ago but from what i remember its pretty exclusive to nu-school and prog. breaks.

Just discovered soundcloud recently and will have to do more research on how much space you get alotted and if they utilize bandwidth caps if i hit too much traffic.

    Thanks for the tips!

    Hey.

You have great mixes of great songs. Why not just put them on YouTube and let people figure it out from there???

    Thanks.

I’m loving almost all your mixes on here (especially the Progressive Breaks, Hardcore Breaks, and the New Wave sets)….unfortunately, some of the links are dead in here. I highly recommend you try Soundcloud.com. That’s the new thing now…Let me know if you post any new sets up. I’m very anxious to hear what you got next.

Can only offer encouragement. I’m w/ Dan-Phi looking forward to new sets. Cheers.

I’ll take a look into Soundcloud again, I’ll probably have to sign up for one of their premium packages if I decide to use them, but it does look like they have some nice features.

Never forget that there will always be a core group of people who keep your mixes circulating through peer2peer! All of your mixes can still be found on the larger sites and any new mixes will find a home with them!

    Much love!

Yeah Technics, loving your beats. Give the sub in my car, the speakers in my house, and the cones in my headphones a good battering.

Please re-up the old mixes and don’t forget that there are a lot of breakbeat lovers out there wanting more of your sonic goodness…

As said, there are always seeders/leechers on your mixes.

Have you thought about the likes of Humyo? 10-odd Gb of free space, stuff doesn’t get deleted and it’s reasonably fast as well?

    Just a thought. ;)

Hi there, I wanted to tell you this a long time now: Old Skool Progressive Breaks Vol. 2 is THE biggest masterpiece of dj’ing I have ever heard to my life (and I’m 40). I don’t think there’s another compilation, anywhere, that can even come close to the poetry you have written while mixing these tracks. I have it in my car since the day you issued it and can’t stop listening to it and admiring your work, even now, at least once or twice per month. Congratulations!

I believe that there are quite a few of us who are followers to this thread, but not much on commenting. I can tell you that I have almost all of your work and I am pleased with it! :) Thank you as always to you for the hard work that you do in creating wonderful dance tracks and mixes. Please keep up the great work and may 2011 be even better than 2010!

Hey T2000, we miss ya! Soundcloud is definitely the way forward.

You’ve created some incredible mixes in the past, more please. I can’t wait for Hardcore Breaks Vol 3 :o )

Many, many thanks for sharing them…

BTW How about a mix of the more commercial vocal dubstep, Magnetic Man, Katy B etc? Just a thought :o )
