Technics2000 Mixes

How to Play Mixes with Tracks Split

This guide is for those that want to play these mixes on PC with tracks separated. I recommend using Foobar but you can use any media player that supports cue files.

All my mixes should come with a mp3 file, a nfo or txt file that has basic info about the mix and a cue file. The cue file contains track titles/artists along with timecodes of where the mix should be split. Make sure you keep the cue file in the same folder as the mp3 file.

Step 1
Download and Install Foobar

Step 2
Launch Foobar
10

Step 3
In File Menu, select Preferences
11

Step 4
Select File Types and click “Open Set Program Associations: foobar2000 control panel”
12

Step 5
Make sure .Cue is checked and click Save
13

Step 6
Browse to the cue file on your computer and double-click
14

Step 7
Enjoy
